Thunder Bay, September 10, 2021 – The 9th edition of the Franco-Festival 2021 will take place between September 21 and 26, 2021. This year’s program will be delivered in a hybrid fashion, meaning that all activities will be available virtually with some that will also have a face-to-face aspect.
Always in a family spirit, the Franco-Festival offers activities for everyone; for the young and the young at heart. They include a counting time, tutorials, a scavenger hunt, a concert, bingo games, and a science night.
In addition, to highlight the talents found in the Northwest, the organizing committee is proposing an art contest based on the theme: “Express your Francophone pride in green and white”.
The objective of this talent contest is to allow massive participation from a larger public regardless of its location in Northwestern Ontario. Entries are open until September 17, 2021.
The winners of the contest will be announced before the mega-concert to be held on Franco-Ontarian Day, September 25, 2021.
