The Coopérative Centre francophone de Thunder Bay is one of the 18 recipients of the first round of the « Effet Multiplicateur Nord” program ».

Thunder Bay, September 16, 2021 – The Coopérative Centre francophone de Thunder Bay is pleased to announce today that it is one of the recipients of the «Effet Multiplicateur Nord» for Franco-Ontarian organizations in Northern Ontario. The Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario (AFO) has granted $25,000 in funding to improve the active offer of services to Francophones in Northern Ontario.

This grant will enable the Coopérative Centre francophone de Thunder Bay Inc. to launch a new bilingual accounting service for the Thunder Bay and area community. This project will assist in the creation of permanent employment and improve access to accounting services available in French in the Northwest region. Services will be announced during the fall of 2021.

The 18 recipient organizations of the first round of the North Leverage Program were announced on July 14, 2021, in a press release that can be found on the official AFO website www.monassemblee.ca.

This program is funded by FedNor.
