The Coopérative Centre francophone de Thunder Bay will soon have a new look.

Thunder Bay, July 30, 2021 – The Coopérative Centre francophone de Thunder Bay will begin extensive work on the Centre francophone de Thunder Bay, including the construction of an additional floor and the renovation of the community hall. This will optimize the accessibility, use and impact of the Centre francophone de Thunder Bay and adequately meet the emerging and growing needs of Francophones in the region.

The rehabilitation center and renovation project will cost close to $700,000 and the work will also affect the garage and roof. This project is funded in partnership between the Centre francophone, the provincial government, and the federal government.

The granting of this funding was made official on July 14, 2021 in a press release on the official government website and in an article on the official website of Radio-Canada.
